Position: TRADE FINANCE 
Based in Switzerland

Requirements: International trading group seeks a Trade Finance Assistant.

Responsibilities will include:
· Full control of specific transactions which involves monitoring the flow of documents, checking incoming Letters of Credit and effecting payments. Weekly reporting to financing banks and checking of stock report and debtor report (utilisation of credit line)
· LC’s opening and negotiations on purchase & sales side 
· Opening standby LC’s / guarantees 
· Helping & advicing to operators with regards to LC’s, issuance of documents (invoices, B/L, various other documents etc.) 
· Control of export documents for negotiation under the LC’s 
· Chasing LC’s and amendments 
· Defending our position when having problems with the negotiation of documents 
· Handling of own files from A to Z 
· Allocation of invoices 
· Taking care of stock releases and crosscheck if correctly done
· Crosscheck of the position received from operators with own information through finance system 
· Handling, preparation and maintenance of the finance database 
· Checking the weekly bank reporting for Borrowing Base financing 

Ideal candidates will have:
· Minimum 2 years of LC’s experience in a bank 
· Sound commercial background
· Good LC’s knowledge on import and export side
· Good English language knowledge (corporate language)
· IT-literacy: MS Office 2007
